Breast Cancer Awareness Month: In Conversation With Breast Cancer Now’s Rachel Rawson

how aware are you of your breasts?

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I am starting the month by talking to Rachel Rawson, Associate Director of Nursing at Breast Cancer Now, a charity that does truly amazing work to support those affected by breast cancer.

Rachel provided important insights into the signs and symptoms of breast cancer while demonstrating how to check your breasts, and she gave advice on what to do if you think you may have breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Now holds a particularly special place in my heart, which is why we have continued to donate 10% of all sales from Trinny London’s Lip2Cheek in Sherin to the charity since launching the shade on International Women's Day in March this year.

I am also very proud to announce that a new form of virtual makeup appointment is now available at Trinny London – our One-to-One Virtual Appointments in partnership with Breast Cancer Now will be free of charge throughout October. Our Pro Makeup Artists have all received training from Breast Cancer Now's Clinical Nurse Specialists to bring personalised advice and help you rethink your routine both during and after treatment.

If you or someone you know is going through breast cancer, there is always help available from Breast Cancer Now – if you need more information, you can find it here: https://breastcancernow.org/
