Makeup masterclass

with Rae Morris

I last worked with Rae Morris when I visited Sydney 10 years ago, and it’s such a joy to be working with her again. I’ve missed her incredible makeup knowledge and her how effortless she makes it look to transform my tired, jet-lagged face.

We started with BFF, which Rae buffed into my skin using one of her divine brushes. Although I usually use my fingers, Rae’s brushes are exquisite, as she’s worked with Japanese masters to create them. They are the world’s first synthetic-haired brush with a cuticle, and feel gorgeous on the skin. Rae completed my flawless base by applying our Just A Touch foundation/concealer to areas that needed a bit more coverage, like under my eyes and in my T-zone. One of the reasons I love working with Rae is that she truly understands my mission to encourage ladies to only apply concealer in a few areas where they need it.

To compliment the blue of my eye, Rae created a glorious golden eye. She used a mix of the Eye2Eye shades Fortune, Empress and Queen, and smoked out my lash line using her beautiful brushes. Rae finished the look with Lip2Cheek in Veebee for a pop of coral nude. Whenever I wear a smoky eye, I like to tone it down with a neutral lip. With a little bit of miracle blur tapped into my fine lines around my mouth, I’m ready for a day of meeting lots of lovely Australian ladies. I adore working with Rae, and I wish I could take her back to London with me…
