In today’s Instagram Live, I introduce to you our latest range of lip products called Lip Love. I try on all four shades with our lovely makeup artist Ellie to show you how to wear them with different clothing and skin tones.
This shade in particular makes Ellie’s green eyes pop. She has what we call 'unicorn' hair and the beautiful purple shade really compliments her skin, hair and eye colour to brighten up her face.
For me, this is one of my favourite colours to wear with dark colours - grey or navy. I feel like this is more of an evening colour on me, Dalia looks fabulous on darker skin tones.
Valentina is named after ‘lipstick queen’ Valentina who works in our lab in Italy.
This is a beautiful red shade, it makes me feel so confident when I put it on in the morning. This shade is great to wear with little else on the face, perhaps just your base and mascara on the eyes - it makes the face look bright.
On Ellie, Valentina really makes her eyes shine and brings out a different shade in her eyes. This one suits Ellie the most when she's wearing black.
On me, I prefer to wear it with white. I think that balancing out the colour on your lip with your clothes is important, but doesn't mean matching!
This is named after a really good friend of mine who instigated my relationship with my first husband!
Katinka is a copper/rose gold shade with a slight colour shift to it. Ellie described it as a duo-chrome colour shift and I think that is a fab description of how this shade sits on different people.
I suit this with black as it gives a different look and make it look sultry and more striking.
On Ellie, it looks slightly more red as she has naturally occuring red tones in her lips, this is one of her favourite shades.
Sacha is a woman who’s brother was my best friend who sadly passed away. A lot of great memories in my life are things I did with Sacha so I had to name one of my Lip Loves after her.
This is a gorgeous warm coral shade that suits lots of different skin tones.
I like to take the last bit of Sacha and use it as a little bit of blush on the cheeks. It's a really easy, warming colour that is easy to wear because it's similar to a nude, but gives more of a lift.
This suits both Ellie and I.
