For the past 3 months I have been trying 4 different brands and have really tested them. Affinity Organics, a natural brand. Allies of Skin, especially good for acneic and problem skin. Romilly Wilde, a high end brand with the most gorgeous curated active ingredients. Garden of Wisdom, a beautiful vegetarian and affordable brand.

AFFINITY ORGANICS

WHO:
A UK-based luxury skincare brand specialising in bespoke organic products that always contain the finest organic ingredients from around the world. The products used to be sold privately, but after high demand with clients they decided to expand. My dear friend Susannah is a massive convert!

Manuka Blossom Face Wash (£35)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Phytoserol-rich Pomegranate: Anti-aging benefits which stop the slow-down of collagen production caused by the sun and encourages new collagen production.
Baobab Essence: Helps the skin produce proteins that support skin elasticity for soft, supple, radiant and youthful skin.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This manuka honey based cleanser has great anti-bacterial properties. The consistency is not sticky and it leaves my skin radiant and glowy.

Rose & Frankincense Facial Oil (£65)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Camellia: One of my favourite skincare ingredients that includes anti-aging polyphenol antioxidants.
Pomegranate oil: Works as a skin rejuvinator and is also an anti-oxidant. It is great for protecting against pollution and free radicals.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This has a deeply nourishing, nutrient-rich formula to soothe, regenerate, tone and refresh the skin and has the most divine smell thanks to the Rose Otto Damask, Frankincense and Camellia.

Turmeric and Mandarin Body Wash (£25)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Mandarin: Freshens, energizes and provides aromatherapy in a steamy shower.
Turmeric: Helps to strengthen the immune system and adds a tingly warmth to the formula.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This daily wash helps improve circulation and gives me a calm energy. It really helps give me a positive outlook for the day and the turmeric is excellent for inflammation, and strengthening my immune system.

ALLIES OF SKIN

WHO:
Allies of Skin was founded by 30 year old entrepreneur Nicolas Travis, who suffered with severe acne himself. He studied bio-medical and pharmaceutical sciences before graduating from French business school. The brand launched with only the one product (1A All-Day Pollution Repiar Mask) but now has 8 SKUs. Allies of Skin uses many potent ingredients such as antioxidants and probiotics.

Fresh Slate Brightening Cleanser + Masque (£38)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Water Activated Vitamin C: Powerful antioxidant that boots collagen production, brightens and evens out skin tone.
Astaxanthin: Potent antioxidant that maintains skin's elasticity and helps improve the appearance of wrinkles.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This is an enzyme cleanser that gently exfoliates, brightens and hydrates without irritating the skin. You can also use this cleanser as a mask by leaving it on for about 10 minutes. I love the texture of this product and helps give radiance to my skin.

Molecular Saviour Mist (£48)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Colloidal Silver: A proven topical antibiotic and antibacterial active that fights inflammation and promotes healing.
Silk amino acids: Hydrating antioxidant that penetrates the skin's surface to boost the skin's moisture levels.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This mist not only hydrates the skin but is also infused with antioxidants, probiotics, colloidal silver which acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory and acne bacterial killer.

Bright Future Overnight Facial (£110)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Hyaluronic Acid: Promotes the retention of moisture that protects and shields the skin against free radicals and environmental stress.
Diglucosyl Gallic Acid: Brightener derived through biotechnology. It blocks melanin production at several levels and protects the skin from inflammation. It is 60 times more potent than kojic acid in brightening skin tone.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This product is a chemical peel that is also at the same time hydrating. Helps to refine skin texture with its exfoliating acid content and minimises inflammation.
Allies of Skin Bright Future Overnight Facial

ROMILLY WILDE

WHO:
Susie Willis, the founder, launched Romilly Wilde in 2015. She uses ‘adaptogenic’ actives in her products which corrects any skin imbalances. The brand focuses on sourcing the best natural and effective ingredients, and they use sustainably sourced plants and bio-farms which have not had any chemical treatments or preservatives.

Romilly Wilde Light + Energy Serum Cleanser (£54)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Wild Abyssinian Oil: This oil is extremely moisturising and promotes skin suppleness, softness and wrinkle reduction. It also contains a high percentage of Omega9 fatty acids.
Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil: This oil is very healing on the skin. It can help heal burns, cuts, wounds, sunburns, rashes and other types of skin damage.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This cleanser contains 25 active ingredients. I love the balm texture which emulsifies into a milk, yet feels immensly hudrating.
Romilly Wilde Light + Energy Serum Cleanser

Romilly Wilde Advanced Supercell Serum (£110)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Green Mandarin Extract: One of the most calming of citrus oils and is proven to help dimish blemishes, stretch marks and scars.
Prickly Pear Oil: This oil contains vitamin K which can help to brighten hyperpigmentation. Can also helps to brighten under eye dark circles and elasticity within the skin.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This serum contains a pure form of hyaluronic acid which makes it extremely hydrating. It plumps and gives my skin a lovely glow. It also has a delicate jasmine and rose scent.

Romilly Wilde Night Duty Face Cream (£125)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Full Spectrum Hyaluronic Acid: has the ability to replenish moisture in the skin.
Mexican Poppy Plant Cell Extract: Has been used as a medicinal plant for generations, for wounds and scar tissue, as it restores and maintains water supply to the epidermis.

WHY I LOVE IT:
Even though its between an ooil and cream the texture of this product penetrates the skin beautifully, leaving it feeling immensly hydrated.
Romilly Wilde Night Duty Face Cream

GARDEN OF WISDOM

WHO:
espeically formulated with Shabir at Victoria Health, Garden of Wisdom tries to use as many active ingredients as possible and makes sure to use correct strengths within their serums. It is also a vegetarian brand that is cruelty free.

Garden of Wisdom Vitamin C Serum 23% + Ferulic Acid (£10)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Ascorbic Acid: This is a potent anti-oxidant. It evens out skin tone and can help prevent and treat UV damage and enhances collagen production.
Ferulic Acid: protects vitamin C against oxidation. It helps to destroy superoxide and hydroxyl radicals and this in turn protects against skin ageing. Ferulic acid is also beneficial for protecting skin against sun damage.

WHY I LOVE IT:
This vitamin C helps to brighten my skin, and for the price point competes equally with its more expensive cousins like Skin Ceuticals. It also helps to prevent and treat hyper pigmentation.
Garden of Wisdom Vitamin C Serum 23% + Ferulic Acid

Garden of Wisdom Niacinamide Serum (£9)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Niacinamide (B3): Improves the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and dullness.
Pantothenic Acid: A water soluble vitamin which promotes the growth and differentiation of keratinocytes, which are essential for maintaining a healthy barrier function in the skin.

WHY I LOVE IT:
I love to recommend this product to those with problem skin as this serum helps to regulate sebum production and prevents any breakouts.
Garden of Wisdom Niacinamide Serum

Garden of Wisdom Eye Contour Serum (£18)

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Matrixyl 3000: This is a combination of peptides that promote new collagen production and improves the appearance of fine eye lines and wrinkles.
Caffeine: Helps to constrict the blood vessels which dramatically improve the appearance of eye puffiness, dark circles and eye bags. Caffeine also displays tightening and firming benefits.

WHY I LOVE IT:
I usually hate eye creams and I don't see the point in them. That said, this eye serum I like as it contains multi-peptides designed to target dark circles around the eyes, fine lines and wrinkles. Matrixyl is particularly good for the eye area so product is an exception for me.
