When I’m packing to go away, I like to keep everything separate and organised, including my skincare, makeup and clothing.

I like to use my Anya Hindmarch In-Flight Makeup Bag to carry my in-flight skincare products. It has two sides to the case: ‘Take-Off’ and ‘Touch-Down’ which allows you to separate your products. I don’t personally use much makeup when flying, and don’t plan on wearing any for this flight, although I do like to keep my Trinny London stacks in here, as well as my skincare.

In general, I like to find travel-sized versions of the products that I love and use every day, however for the products that don’t have a miniature version, I will decant them into Muji containers.

I also use a small spray bottle for my perfume.

CLOTHING

For my carry-on, I like to bring one small wheeled suitcase and a larger handbag. Inside this case I’ll keep the outfit that I’m travelling in, and my carry-on cosmetic bag. Everything else will go in my main case.

I like to plan my outfits in full by placing items on a clothing rail. This helps to make sure I’m not packing anything unnecessarily, whilst also making it easy for me to see what I have.

For me, scarves are key – here I’m packing three. Scarves really transform an outfit and are especially handy in changeable climates and on the plane. For bags, I’ll be taking a small cross-body bag so that it’s easy for me to go hands free when I’m sightseeing, my larger bag that I’ll be taking on the plane is by Troubadour.

Packing Cubes from Muji are also great to separate underwear/workout clothing. I also like to keep dirty clothes separate as laundry services in hotels can be expensive, so I just bring them home with me.

I hope this gives you some useful tips for packing, I’d love to know if you have any other tips!
