Morning Skin Care Routine

Dr. Brandt Skincare Microdermabrasion Age-Defying Exfoliator - £47
WHO:
US-brand Dr Brandt was founded by Dr Fredric Brandt and is based around his research into the use of natural antioxidants that fight free radical damage.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Contains lactic acid and aluminium oxide crystals that buff away dead skin cells.
WHY I LOVE IT:
I love the fresh lemon scent and leaves skin feeling smooth.

Biologique Recherche Hydrating and Revitalizing Face Mask - £70
WHO:
A cult classic brand, Biologique Recherche is a 30 year-old French brand who use concentrated, raw active ingredients.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Yeast, cucumber and witch hazel which has cooling and purifying properties, recommended for combination/oily skin.
WHY I LOVE IT:
I like how it makes my skin feel intensely hydrated, I like to use this after microneedling. Afterwards by skin feels fresh and awake.

SkinCeuticals C E FERULIC - £129
WHO:
Founded in 1994 by Dr Sheldon Pinnell, SkinCeuticals as a brand is dedicated to improving skin health with advanced skincare backed by science.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Vitamins C & E and Ferulic Acid which all help to protect against pollution and free radicals and even skin tone.
WHY I LOVE IT:
This is one of my favourite vitamin C products for skin pigmentation.

De Mamiel Intense Nurture Antioxidant Elixir - £80
WHO:
The brand was founded by aromatherapist Annee de Mamiel after chemotherapy and radiation treatment dried out her skin.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Rich in antioxidants including rose, myrrh and vetiver oils. Also contains Superoxide Dismutase which is a natural enzyme that boosts the oxygen intake which is key to the cell renewal process.
WHY I LOVE IT:
This feels creamy and soft and penetrates the skin quickly.

Josh Rosebrook Vital Balm Cream - £85
WHO:
Josh Rosebrook is ex-stylist with a passion for skincare who launched an all-natural skincare line.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Aloe Vera for its soothing properties, and Indian senna seed which is known as ‘botanical hyaluronic acid’ as it restores moisture in the skin.
WHY I LOVE IT:
I like that this is a cream-based product but you can still feel the essential oils in it, and it leaves my skin dewy.

BioEffect EGF Serum - £125
WHO:
An Icelandic brand which was founded by three geneticists after they discovered a way to bio-engineer a plant-based replica of EGF, a naturally occurring human protein, in barley.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Bioeffect’s own developed ingredient, EGF which hydrates and rejuvenates the skin.
WHY I LOVE IT:
A fantastic product and I really feel like it works on my skin.

Talika Lipocils Expert Eye Gel - £31
WHO:
A lash-specific brand founded in 1948, Talika uses vitamin-rich formulations to nourish and strengthen the eye area.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Enriched with nettle extract and horse chestnut, both of which help to stimulate the growth of lashes.
WHY I LOVE IT:
I use this to help condition my lashes, and it adds a sheen if I’m not wearing makeup.

De Mamiel Restorative Cleansing Balm - £54
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Contains Kukui Nut butter which is rich in antioxidants and calendula, camellia and moringa oils as cleansing agents.
WHY I LOVE IT:
This is my favourite cleanser at the moment, smells mesmerising and removes all traces of makeup.

Méthode Jeanne Piaubert Stimuloval Roller Toning Massage - £30
WHO:
A French brand founded in 1928, Jeanne Piaubert created a specific technique for the application of her products involving stimulating the blood to eliminate toxins.
WHY I LOVE IT:
I use this in the mornings and find that it rejuvenates and stimulates my skin.

Swiss Clinic Skin Roller 0.2mm/0.5mm - £42
WHO:
Swiss Clinic develop high-tech beauty products and treatments with active, natural ingredients.
WHY I LOVE IT:
The skin roller creates tiny micro-channels promoting the skin to create more collagen therefore stimulating new skin cells.

ORIBE Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray - £36 (full size)
WHO:
Founded by renowned editorial hairstylist Oribe and beauty industry veterans Daniel Kaner and Tev Finger. Their goal was to combine skincare technologies into haircare.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
A blend of oils and plant extracts, including watermelon, lychee and edelweiss flower which helps to protect hair from the deterioration of natural keratin.
WHY I LOVE IT:
I love how this creates texture into my hair with hardly any effort – it adds volume and body.
