The Trinny Taxi Show: Erica Davies
Today I am joined by the wonderful Erica Davies, we met back in 2007 when she was my editor at The Sun Newspaper. She spent over fifteen years working as a Fashion Director on national newspapers and magazines. She now runs her own successful style website, The Edited, whilst renovating her house and bringing up two children with her husband, James. In the taxi today, we discuss her thoughts on fast fashion and she shares her beauty top six, including her secret use for Febreeze…

This cleanser has a lovely blend of oils with barely any preservatives whatsoever. Having said that it does not emulsify into a milk which is why I am not so keen on this particular cleansing oil.
This Vitamin C is full of powerful antioxidants and fruit enzymes. It contains 15% l-ascorbic acid, 0.5% ferulic acid and 1% vitamin E. This serum brings radiance and luminosity to the skin. This is not my favourite Vitamin C as it has a rather sticky consistency but I will use it.
This exfoliating acid contains salicylic acid, which has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to reduce blackheads, blemishes and redness. Great for acne-prone skins.
I’m not the biggest fan of Kate Somerville as you ladies know. I think there are better moisturisers at far cheaper price points.
I was so excited to see this come out of Erica’s bag… I absolutely adore this product. This is a paste formula Vitamin C that you apply after cleansing. It feels like a gel/balm hybrid. Leave this on for around 10 minutes and take off; great pick-me-up in the morning if my skin is tired. I notice an immediate difference.
Very expensive, but beautiful ingredients. This is a gorgeous healing salve, that hydrates the skin.
