They’re also messengers, and our 4-peptide complex instructs the skin to make more collagen for a plump, bouncy complexion.
Phytosphingosine
Phytosphingosine is the identical twin of lipids already existing in the skin, so a warm welcome is guaranteed. It works to replenish the skin’s moisture barrier and encourage the production of skin-plumping collagen, aka the protein that helps your skin “bounce back’.
Lactococcus ferment
As we age, our skin barrier becomes less able to defend itself, leading to dryness and dullness. Lactococcus ferment is just what skin needs - supporting the amount of good microflora on the skin’s surface to reinforce this very important barrier.
