The truth: no one’s face is symmetrical. And it’s really common for lips too. As we get older and wiser, the amount of collagen and elastin in our skin starts to decline and it loses its bounce, meaning our lips don’t have the same plumpness they used to.

If your top lip isn’t feeling as perky as its bottom sister, you don’t have to turn to tweakments. Filler isn’t the only answer for giving you a balanced smile, you just need a creamy lip liner and an effortless hack – and that’s where we come in…

How to balance your top and bottom lip…

Step one: Start by drawing straight across your Cupid’s bow with Line2Define Lip liner.

Step two: Create an inverted triangle in the middle of your top lip to emphasise the volume.

Step three: Trace from the outside in on your top lip from either side then trace your natural lip line on the bottom.

Step four: Finish with a layer of Sheer Joy lip oil all over. Hello, even pout.

Unbalanced Lips Club: FAQs

Sharpen your Line2Define Lip Liner so you have a fresh, precise point to work with. Identify any unbalanced lip lines, then use your liner to gently even out the shape of your lips. If you feel you’re lacking volume, create an inverted triangle in the middle of your top lip to boost the volume.

To overline asymmetrical lips, simply use your Line2Define Lip Liner to draw an outline slightly above your natural lip line. Unify your Cupid’s bow and the centre of your bottom lip, before tracing outwards towards the corners.
