Laser facial with Teresa Tarmey

Lactic Acid Peel

Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) extracted from milk. This is used to gently exfoliate the skin by removing any dead skin cells on the skin's surface. This acid suits everyone and is good for acne prone skin.

Radio Frequency

Sculpting treatment using Accent by Alma Lasers. Skin tightening happens when the skin temperature is maintained at around 40-42°C for a certain amount of time. The heat will then cause the contraction of the collagen fibers and stimulate the skin to produce new collagen. You will start to notice results with every skin cycle (every 6 weeks).

Microneedling

Teresa has created her very own Microneedling Kit (£350) for at home use. The programme is designed to enhance luminosity and revitalise the skin. It replenishes the skin, plumps it with moisture and leaves it feeling firmer, reducing the appearance of fine lines, visibly evening out the skin tone and protecting the skin. Targeting all skin types and all ages, Teresa has tailor made each product and provided tools to mimic the effects of mesotheraphy, to trigger collagen reproduction, for maximum effect.

The Teresa Tarmey kit contains:

Lactic Acid Toner

Gently exfoliates skin without the downtime. As opposed to glycolic acid, this toner is suitable for all skin types, reducing the feeling of dryness and tightness, allows the skin to maintain a water balance and hydrate.

Peptide Treatment

Makes skin feel firmer, revitalises and replenishes skin, visibly evens out the skin tone and boosts hydration.

Genuine Dermaroller

A therapy in itself, the Dermaroller is a medical tool that allows treatment to penetrate further.

24ct Gold Plated Massage Tool

Maximises the Peptide Treatment’s potency by vibrating the product into skin.

Silicone Mask

Rather than providing sheet masks with pre-applied product, Teresa developed a reusable silicone mask, which she feels is more beneficial to using sheet masks. Silicone was selected due to its unique properties that replenish and hydrate the skin whilst allowing it to breathe. The masks are syringed with a high percentage of pure hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic Acid Gel

Helps plump the skin with moisture.

LED Light Therapy

Dermalux™ LED Phototherapy is a non-invasive hand and facial treatment that uses narrow band, non-thermal LED light energy to trigger your body’s natural cell processes to accelerate rejuvenation and repair of the skin. It’s recommended for skin rejuvenation, sun damage, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, sensitive and inflammatory conditions, wound healing and scarring as well as anyone looking to restore skin’s radiance.

LED Light Therapy uses colour wavelengths of visible light which have specific skin benefits. As a result of ageing, skin disorders or trauma, healthy skin cells are compromised and unable to renew themselves normally. The skin uses the light as a source of energy to fuel the repair and rejuvenation of damaged cells, or, in the case of treating acne, kill bacteria. The energy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, boosts circulation and accelerates tissue repair. During the treatment, you’ll simply lie underneath a light screen while the device does all the work.

Depending on your skin concern, the three types of light available are as follows:

Red Light

Increases natural hydration levels, reduced redness and inflammation, shrinks the appearance of pores, regulates oil production, improves circulation, accelerates skin repair as is a medically-approved treatment for rosacea.

Blue light

Powerful antibacterial properties for the treatment of acne without irritation, reduces oil production, prevents future breakout and offers a UV-free alternative for the treatment of eczema and psoriasis.

Near Infra-Red Light

The most deeply absorbed wavelength, it increases cell permeability and absorption, smooths lines and wrinkles, improves elasticity, reduces pain and inflammation, accelerates wound healing and heals cystic acne.

Cryotheraphy

Teresa has her own Cryo-Ball Cryotheraphy Kit (£220) which can be used at home. This kit helps to instantly and dramatically lift saggy and puffy skin, rejuvenate dull complexions and sculpt the face.

The ball needs to be kept in the freezer for 24 hours prior to use. The freezing temperatures combined with the rolling and stretching technique creates a unique, cry-microcirculation effect on the skin, which prompts tighter skin and an instant glow.
