Trinny taxi show

I was so excited to meet Ruth Crilly, fashion model, writer and blogger (A Model Recommends) for the first time in the TRINNY TAXI. She was so lovely and knowledgable and I felt that I could really trust her insights. She is currently on tour with Space NK, how fab... What a delight.

MAKE UP CHALLENGE:

BFF Cream SPF 30 in Light Medium (£35) as a base all over. Just A Touch in Trintron (£28) under the eyes and on the chin to cover any darkness.

For defined cheekones she uses The Right Light in Starlight (£25) and Cheekbones in Kate (£25).

To inject colour back into the cheeks Ruth uses a Golden Glow in Jensta (£25) and Flush Blush in Electra (£20).

Eye2Eye in Mystery (£18) as a wash over the eyes with added sparkle from Lip Love in Katinka (£24).

Finally Lip Glow in Lyla (£16) on the lips!

1/ Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum (£66)

A lot of my guests in the Trinny Taxi have been mentionning Elizabeth Arden products. This product is a lightweight serum which delivers skin-identical ceramides to the skin. It helps to retexturise the skin also. Plus it's so handy for travel; You could even pop one in an empty T-pot...

2/ Darphin Aromatic Cleansing Balm (£35)

This balm cleanses the skin without clogging the pores or leaving an annoying oily residue. It transforms into a light milk upon contact with water which I love. It contains jojoba seed, rosewood, sage, marula, and ylang-ylang essential oils...

UK200008744 DARPHIN

3/ DCL Peptide Plus Eye Treatment (£86)

Personally I don't believe in eye creams... That said I love DCL products. This eye cream is supposed to fight free radicals and boost hydration. The nutrients in this cream should reduce puffiness and lighten dark circles.

4/ Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum (£44)

This hyaluronic serum hydrated the skin with its vitamin B5 and pineapple ceramide. It not only plumps the skin but also helps to brighten. I love to layer this product under a moisturiser.

UK200021919 DRUNK ELEP

5/ Roche Posey Toleriane Moisturiser (£15)

This moisturiser is a brilliant budget friendly option. It hydrates and soothes very sensitive or intolerant skin. It is enriched with Squalene. Definitely one to have in your arsenal.

3433422405295 La Roche Posay Toleriane 40ml 3

6/ Sunday Riley Good Genes (£85)

Sunday Riley used to do this acid serum using lactic acid, but this got banned in the UK given the new EU regulations. Sunday Riley have reformulated this product, this time with glycolic acid...

Good Genes Sunday Riley

7/ Emma Hardie Plump & Glow Hydrating Mist (£42)

I'm going to give this mist a go; It hydrates the most dehydrated of skins. It contains velvet flower extract, aloe juice powder and ribose. It also has a dreamy scent...

8/ Beauty Pie Super Retinol Set (£275)

I love Beauty Pie; I rate both their retinol and Japanfusion ranges... These products have slow-release retinol formulas with moisture-boosting ceramides, hyaluronic acids, biological pseudo-collagen and Vitamin C.

Beauty Pie

9/ Herbivore Pink Cloud Rosewater Moisture Creme (£42)

A super luxurious cream... It helps to hydrate and plump the skin. It claims to also reduce the appearance of redness and dark spots; A true treat for the face.

10/ Colab Dry Hair Shampoo Original (£3.50)

Ruth's very own range!!! This dry shampoo doesn't leave any white residue and absorbs any oil. It compares to the Oribe Dry Texturising Spray, but at a fraction of the price. Well done Ruth...
