Mists

Ladies, let’s demystify the topic of mists. What exactly is a mist, well you’ll probably remember them better as floral toners. There are so many mists you can buy, some higher in price and their relevance in our skincare routine is something that I get asked about often.

Mists can be perfect as a refresher, as something to gently moisturise your skin or something worn on a summers day in combination with your SPF. They are perfect for carrying around in my beach bag or when I am travelling to really hit reset on my skin and rejuvenate me.

1. Sisely, Floral Spray Mist, £66

Settles skin, leaves it with a tiny bit of moisture but predominantly tone.

2. MV Organic Skincare, Rose Hydrating Mist, £29

Divine scent, really English rose scent. Great for hydration and I like to use it in conjunction with my SPF in the summer. Great ingredients and overall brand.

3. Hannes Dottir, Mineral Mist, £37

Feels so refreshing, like being hit by the spray of a crashing ocean. Almost feels medicinal on the skin. Feel the intensity of the mineral application and them penetrating my skin. Mineral based, and supremely calming.

4. Josh Rosebrook, Hydrating Accelerator, £22

Floral pungency here. It has a really hearty scent and is probably one of the most hydrating ones. I really do like this mist for when I am travelling.

5. Jane Scrivner, Frankincense Hydrating Mist, £19

Interesting scent and I really get the medicinal smell of lavender. This mist is a true inhalation onto your senses, I like the fact that this is a really good product for a reasonable price.

6. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra 8 Face Mist, £19.50

No fragrance, and very good for sensitive skin. This is great for someone who has maybe been a little too heavy on treatments or even micro needling. I love this whole range for sensitive skin that needs something but nothing heavy or overbearing.
