Today I want to share with you the serums I’m loving at the moment. Ladies, I try so many products and some are fabulous, some not so much, which is why I think it’s always worth sharing the ones that work.
I have tried these serums for six, three and two months respectively and I’m really excited about each of them.
Firstly we have Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner (£23) which is packed with amino acids and Phyto-Oligo - both excellent ingredients for moisturising. It feels nice and deeply hydrating and what’s so great about this formula is it’s never sticky. I use it as a conduit for a tool like my microcurrent, really applying a lot of product all over my face and working it all in. Absolutely delightful.
Secondly there’s Copper PCA Peptides (£59) by Medik8. This is a fantastic brand that does really good retinols, amongst so many other wonderful concoctions. This fabulous product is like a dual serum contained in two chambers. That is so that the two ingredients don’t interact with each other and so are most active when they first come out of the tube. On one side there’s copper, a very powerful antioxidant, and on the other there’s Matrixyl 3000 which plumps and hydrates. A very popular ingredient at the moment.
Last but never least is the fabulous Empelle serum (£140). Expensive but very effective. Now this product is perfect for women who are peri-monpausal or menopausal as it has such a great balance of ingredients. It contains Niacinamide which we know we love, vitamin B3 which helps with enlarged pores and MEP which helps to restore that old friend, collagen. I adore this serum so much it’s the only daytime one I used when I was recently in New York...
