Blazers are a wardrobe staple and they are so versatile.
Often we think of a blazer as something you'd wear to school or matching with a suit, but a blazer can be styled in so many different ways.
This black Chanel inspired Zara blazer is quite short, it ends too high on my body for it compliment my shape, but by layering a waistcoat underneath, I add the needed length which balances my long torso and short legs.
So consider looking at a blazer that you may already own and thinking, what are the ways I can style this to create different, more exciting outfits?
For some inspiration, here are some different ways that I styled three gorgeous women at This Morning...

LIZ

This pale pink colour really suits Liz's skin, hair and eye combination. This is classic styling. Worn with the waistcoat Liz looks incredibly chic. It's soft in colour but powerful to see a woman in tailoring. All of the pieces of this suit can be worn separately so consider investing in the full outfit. If you find a colour that suits you, why not wear it top to toe?

SADE

Sade looks glorious in a hot pink dress and red blazer. This truly is how you colour clash with style. My T-Tip is to wear a belt over the blazer. This blazer has a great shape already, but by wearing a belt on top it nips in her waist. Outerwear can hide the shape of your body, we work so hard to look good and then cover everything up with a jacket - think of your blazer a continuation of your outfit.

NIKI

Niki looks sensational in this sequin co-ord and tailored cape. I know I've used this cape a few times but it is the ultimate way to modernise your look. I've dressed so many women in this cape and I've not put it on anyone who hasn't looked instantly cool. The sequin top and skirt can be worn separately but as you can see, worn together is so impactful, it's a great look for a party or a night out with friends.

So ladies, have a look in your wardrobe and think, could I belt that? Could I colour clash? Or could I become a cape crusader?
