bright daytime makeup

Make up | Bright lip looks

"A bright makeup look can easily transform an outfit. Throughout my career, I’ve met women who wear a lot of black, or have been wearing the same makeup look for the past 10 years. My advice is to try wearing a bright lip or eye, as it’s a fabulous first step to help you get out of your comfort zone and in to wearing bright colours. For me, I love our Lip Luxe in Demon as it adds life to my face and makes me feel more energised. It’s perfect for those times when I want to look both classic and fresh.

Our gorgeous accountant Jael is a ray of sunshine in the office and loves wearing bright makeup to match her personality. Her flawless skin is the perfect base for a bright lip and eye look as the colours draw attention to her beautiful features equally. Whenever I experiment with colour, I like to build up the intensity which cream-based products allow me to do. As Jael does with her Lip2Cheek in Chacha, I warm the colour up with my fingertips, then apply to my cheek and blend, blend, blend.

So ladies, do you prefer a bright lip, a pop of sparkle on your eyes, or can you pull off both like Jael? I take a bright lip everywhere with me in my stack… it’s my worst-kept secret for helping me look glam on the go."
