Lesley Thomas, Beauty Editor of the Times, joins me in the TRINNY TAXI and shows me her top beauty products that she always reaches for. She not only discusses skincare but also some lovely makeup products too...
This lip balm is a true luxury… I must admit that I do love and use it despite the hefty price tag. It contains natural ingredients including hazelnut and sunflower oils in addition to hokum butter and shea butter.
I’ve not used Clarins products for a while now but I feel I have to try them again after speaking to Lesley... This serum is very popular containing turmeric which preserves communication between skin cells, oat which helps to firm up the skin and banana which promotes collagen.
Although I am in the process of creating my own mascara, I have also been using this Hourglass mascara for the time being. It has a good tapered brush and the consistency is buildable and really coats the lashes and makes them the darkest of blacks.
This is a lovely coral-peach liquid blush. You all know I don't use powder so I can really appreciate this product. It applies sheer and has the most beautiful iridescence.
I don't usually use powder but this one was particularly soft and smooth. But you know I can only use my fingers ladies... even when it comes to powder.
Although I don't personally use powder products as I feel they sit on the skin rather than blend in seamlessly, I can really see the utility of having face, cheeks and eye products all in one compact palette.
So lovely to hear that Lesley is loving her Trinny London stack. She's got our Face Finish Mattifying Balm(£25), our highlighter in Sunlight (£25) and our newest release MIRACLE BLUR (£26).
You all know I NEVER wear nailpolish. I haven't in over ten years now. But this glittery nail polish looked so beautiful I had to try it on...
I adore Trish, and it was so nice to be introduced to a product of hers I hadn't tried yet... I must get my hands on it!
