Boost Up FAQs
Should I patch test?
Everyone's skin is unique and no one formulation will be suitable for everyone – this is why we recommend to always patch test new products before incorporating them into your routine.
How do you patch-test?
Follow these steps to patch test:
- Apply a small amount of product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm (close to your elbow pit)
- Keep the area dry
- Rinse with water after 24 hours
- If any burning, excessive redness, blistering, itching or irritation is observed at any point during the test, wash product off immediately and do not use the product
Can I use Boost Up everyday?
Boost Up, our super strength 30% vitamin C serum is designed for highly experienced skincare users only. Start by using Boost Up twice a week to start and gently build up to more regular use. Remember to patch test before first use, and always listen to your skin so that you can adjust how often you use the serum accordingly.
What is ethyl ascorbic acid?
Ethyl ascorbic acid is a stabilised form of vitamin C – this means that it doesn’t oxidise as quickly as L-ascorbic acid, and it delivers high-performing results in a skin-friendly formula. Watch our Deep Dive episode for everything you need to know about everyone’s favourite vitamin here
